Th functionality allows user to adjust car to varying degrees of performance by changing boost pressures from turbo. It also allows user to use any grade of fuel at any time without worry of damage to engine. It also can be adjusted to take full advantage of race fuel or octane boosters that are typically out of range of any performance software. All safety mechan ms routines are left intact to prevent user from setting engine to operate outside of safety limits. The SPS 3 device allows user to change boost timing of vehicle. Some people wanted only 1 BAR programs for reliability economy while o rs wanted 1.4 BAR for power. Th gives user ability to select desired boost level for what ever y are doing , be it a track day or a long trip. The adjustable timing allows user to maximize power by adding or removing engine ignition timing. Some people like to use octane boosters for track days th will allow user to add more timing to fully utilize added octane. While for drive back y may want to fill tank with st ard grade petrol to save money. Th also allows user to remove timing to provide a smooth safe performance level with st ard grade fuel. | |
