On New Beetle , Golf Jetta 4 , very little modification needs to be done to side skirts. Only one small square needs to be cut out of plastic side skirts so solid aluminum post can bolt to frame. A specially designed compression nut tool included with every Evolution MK4 skid plate for easy installation. The Evolution MK3 skid plates do not use compression nuts.
