An independant review carried out by NGP Racing USA "We recently tested Forge Motorsort Golf MK4 1.8T (TIP) turbo intake pipe on our Dyno. If you look at graphs below you can see improvement. Run 4 with stock TIP Runs 6 7 are with Forge/Samco hose... however , run 7 had a slipping clutch (as you can see by dip after initial torque surge.) Run 6 was done with part throttle (to try stop clutch slip) until after 3k... There was no slipping clutch , but were were not able to run as much boost ei r. The car was: 2001 AWW GTi 1.8T with a performance 93 octane chip , 2.5" Downpipe , 2.5" Cat back , a Forge DV. |
