	Front Mounted Intercooler for 1.8T: Front Mounted Intercooler: APR please to present our front mounted intercooler for 1.8T. The construction advanced design techniques used in APR intercooler sets ours apart from all o rs on market. Utilizing such technologies as a top-bottom feed core , custom m rel bent plumbing , innovative cast endtanks with internal vaning , our intercooler has produced excellent results in testing. The conditions of one test that was performed as follows: at 20 psi of pressure with a vehicle speed of 70 mph , an elevation of approximately 500 feet above sea level. Under se conditions internal flow was measured at 720cfm. Also at those conditions , with an input temp of 240� F , intercooler was quite effective; cooling output air to 126� F. While doing th , intercooler measured a pressure drop of only .58 psi. Equally as impressive with APR intercooler was external pressure drop ( amount of air pressure behind intercooler) of only 1.01 psi. Th helps to allow airflow to o r critical parts of car such as radiator A/C condenser. While internal pressure drop important , external pressure drop often overlooked. Most o r intercoolers commonly cause 1.5 to 2.0 pounds of pressure drop , hindering radiator from effectively doing its job of cooling engine.
